WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?

If you've never had a facial before, don't worry! I'm here to help, and at your appointment I'll be tailoring everything to your specific needs, so you'll be getting the best advice for your skin without confusion or overwhelm. We'll keep it simple and relevant, sticking to the basics, so that you have an easy skincare routine to stick to in between treatments.

So what happens at your first appointment?

We'll take a close look at your skin to establish your skin type and the 'phase' it's currently in. The skin phase is determined by things like your age, the season and weather, and your lifestyle.

Once we're clear on this, I can tailor the treatment to suit your skin. We'll start with a deep cleanse, removing makeup and impurities. Then, depending on your skin's needs, we'll carry out a gentle exfoliation to revitalize dull skin, followed by a facial steam with beneficial ozone and light therapy to help stimulate skin cell renewal. We'll detoxify the skin using a clay mask to remove impurities, and finish with a toner, serum and moisturiser for soft, nourished and hydrated skin.

I'll talk you through everything you need to know to keep your skin looking and feeling its best, and I'll answer any questions you may have. We'll cover things like:

• The daily routine you can do at home between treatments to get the best results.

• Which skincare products to invest in and why.

• When to re-book for your next facial treatment.

• Aftercare advice.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BOOK IN FOR FACIALS?

Most clients have a facial treatment every month, this gives the opportunity to assess the progress you're making and see if there are any changes that need to be made. Our skin's needs change due to things like the seasons and lifestyle changes, so regular facials help us to keep on top of these changes and we can adapt our skincare accordingly.

Making facials a regular habit is the key to radiant, healthy skin. Not only are facials an opportunity to get to grips with your skincare, they're also really relaxing, giving you some time to chill and enjoy being pampered.

After your facial, you'll be given aftercare advice and a personalised skincare plan to take home with you. We'll book your next appointment in and you'll have the opportunity to purchase any skincare products you need for home care.
