FELTED SOAP IS THE ULTIMATE LUXURY BATHTIME TREAT, HERE'S WHY IT'S SO SPECIAL...

Soap is a staple in any bathroom, but felted soap takes bathing to the next level!
The texture of the felt provides gentle exfoliation while washing, which feels amazing and helps keep your skin silky soft. A great deal of love and care is given to each and every bar of Three Wishes Natural Skincare Felted Soap. All of my soap recipes are vegan, and while the merino fleece used for felted soap is not, it is sustainably sourced from a farm in England. No animals are harmed in the production process.

Not only does the felt offer a gentle exfoliation, felted soap helps your bar last much longer. It lathers up very easily and acts as a barrier to prevent the soap from being worn down as quickly. Over time, as the soap bar becomes smaller, the felt shrinks down around it so that even the very last bit of soap can be used up easily.
When your felted soap is finished, the fleece can either be put in the compost bin, or, you could even try placing it around the base of your outdoor potted plants to keep slugs and snails at bay!

Before the fleece can be carefully felted by hand around the soap bars, it is first hand dyed using calendula flowers. A truly fascinating process that results in a gorgeous bright yellow colour.

Fresh calendula flowers are hand picked and infused in water over a gentle heat to extract the natural dye.

The fleece is added to the dye bath and left until the fibres have fully absorbed the dye.

The result is a beautiful sunshine yellow!
The fleece is then felted around my Calendula & Pink Clay soap, I've used calendula flowers to dye the fleece in keeping with the soap itself. It's one of my most gentle and soothing soap recipes, containing oils infused with calendula petals that gives the soap a wonderfully silky texture.

Not only are they lovely to use, they're beautiful to look at! These precious hand-felted soaps are carefully made in small batches and each one is unique.
CARING FOR YOUR FELTED SOAP
If left in a soap dish, the felted soap does not fare well. Make sure it dries thoroughly between uses to prevent it becoming mushy and unpleasant!
